Extension of expenditure authority for Highway Trust Fund, Sport Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund, and Leaking Underground Storage Tank Trust Fund

(a) Highway Trust Fund Section 9503 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended— (1) by striking October 1, 2026 in subsections (b)(6)(B), (c)(1), and (e)(3) and inserting December 12, 2026, and (2) by striking Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act in subsections (c)(1) and (e)(3) and inserting Surface Transportation Extension Act of 2026. (b) Sport Fish Restoration And Boating Trust Fund Section 9504 of such Code is amended— (1) by striking Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act each place it appears in subsection (b)(2) and inserting Surface Transportation Extension Act of 2026, and (2) by striking October 1, 2026 in subsection (d)(2) and inserting December 12, 2026. (c) Leaking Underground Storage Tank Trust Fund Section 9508(e)(2) of such Code is amended by striking October 1, 2026 and inserting December 12, 2026.
