Section 1419B of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 3156) is amended— (1) in subsection (a)— (A) in paragraph (1), by adding at the end the following: The term of such grants may be for a period of more than 1 year, but not more than 5 years.; and (B) in paragraph (3), by striking 2023 and inserting 2031; and (2) in subsection (b)— (A) in paragraph (1), by adding at the end the following: The term of such grants may be for a period of more than 1 year, but not more than 5 years.; and (B) in paragraph (3), by striking 2023 and inserting 2031.
