Assessment of capacity for ground-safety programs with respect to tactical vehicle operations

(a) Assessment The Secretary of the Army shall conduct an assessment as to whether operational units of the Army have sufficient personnel, resources, and organizational capacity to effectively implement ground-safety programs with respect to tactical vehicle operations. (b) Report Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Army shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report containing the results of the assessment conducted under subsection (a).
