(a) Sense of Congress It is the sense of Congress that— (1) the United States is indebted to the service and dedication of Col. Gregory Watson, Lt. Col. Gabriel Estrella, Retired Lt. Col. Miles Middleton, Maj. Alexander Davis, Maj. Robert Dee, Maj. Brad Hovey, Jeromy Smith, and Christopher Rischar, who lost their lives in the B–52 Stratofortress crash on June 15, 2026; and (2) the people of the United States should honor their memories and remember the sacrifice they and their families have made. (b) Briefing Following the completion of the investigation into the B–52 Stratofortress crash on June 15, 2026, the Secretary of Defense, in consultation with the Secretary of the Air Force, shall provide to the congressional defense committees a briefing on the crash.
