It is the sense of Congress that: (1) Defense community infrastructure program (DCIP) funding should better align with the scale of community requests, which have consistently exceeded available resources. (2) Increased investment in DCIP would support projects essential to readiness and resilience, including transportation, utilities, schools, medical facilities, and workforce housing in defense communities. (3) Congress supports strengthening DCIP to meet infrastructure needs in defense communities and ensure continued mission readiness.
