Equity in Educational Land-Grant Status Act of 1994

The Equity in Educational Land-Grant Status Act of 1994 (7 U.S.C. 301 note; Public Law 103–382) is amended— (1) in section 533(b), by striking 2023 and inserting 2031; (2) in section 534(a)(1), by striking equal to and inserting that is not less than; (3) in section 535, by striking 2023 each place it appears in subsections (b)(1) and (c) and inserting 2031; and (4) in section 536— (A) in subsection (a), by inserting before the period at the end the following: and to acquire, alter, repair, maintain, and operate relevant equipment necessary for strengthening the capacity of the Institution to conduct research in the food and agricultural sciences; (B) by striking subsection (b); (C) by redesignating subsection (c) as subsection (b); and (D) in subsection (b) (as so redesignated), by striking 2023 and inserting 2031.
