Extension of prohibition on use of funds to construct or modify facilities in the United States to house detainees transferred from United States Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba

Section 1034 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 (Public Law 115–232; 132 Stat. 1954), as most recently amended by section 1042 of the Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement and National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025 (Public Law 118–159), is further amended— (1) in subsection (a), by striking December 31, 2025 and inserting December 31, 2026; and (2) in subsection (c), by striking (Public Law 114–92; 129 Stat. 971; 10 U.S.C. 801 note) and inserting (10 U.S.C. 801 note; Public Law 114–92).
