Modification of Taiwan security cooperation initiative

Section 1323(b) of the Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement and National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025 (Public Law 118–159) is amended— (1) in paragraph (1)— (A) by redesignating subparagraph (V) as subparagraph (W); (B) by inserting after subparagraph (U) the following new subparagraph (V): (V) Medical equipment, supplies, and related combat casualty care capabilities.; and (C) in subparagraph (W), as redesignated, by striking (U) and inserting (V); and (2) in paragraph (2)— (A) by redesignating subparagraph (J) as subparagraph (K); (B) by inserting after subparagraph (I) the following new subparagraph (J): (J) Medical equipment, supplies, and related combat casualty care capabilities.; and (C) in subparagraph (K), as redesignated, by striking (I) and inserting (J).
