(a) In general Chapter 3 of title 14, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following: 325. Director of Coast Guard Investigative Service (a) In general There shall be a Director of the Coast Guard Investigative Service. (b) Chain of command The Director of the Coast Guard Investigative Service shall report directly to and be under the general supervision of the Commandant, acting through the Vice Commandant of the Coast Guard.. (b) Clerical amendment The analysis for Chapter 3 of title 14, United States Code, is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 324 the following: 325.
