Redesignation of the Africa Center for Strategic Studies as the James M. Inhofe Center for Africa Security Studies

(a) In general The Department of Defense regional center for security studies known as the Africa Center for Strategic Studies is hereby redesignated as the James M. Inhofe Center for Africa Security Studies. (b) Conforming amendments (1) Reference to regional centers for strategic studies Section 342(b)(2)(D) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking Africa Center for Strategic Studies and inserting James M. Inhofe Center for Africa Security Studies. (2) Acceptance of gifts and donations Section 2611(a)(2)(D) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking Africa Center for Strategic Studies and inserting James M. Inhofe Center for Africa Security Studies. (3) Provision of certain assistance to Sudan Section 1270A(b)(1) of the Sudan Democratic Transition, Accountability, and Fiscal Transparency Act of 2020 (22 U.S.C. 10010(b)(1)) is amended by striking Africa Center for Strategic Studies and inserting James M. Inhofe Center for Africa Security Studies. (c) References Any reference to the Department of Defense Africa Center for Strategic Studies in any law, regulation, map, document, record, or other paper of the United States shall be deemed to be a reference to the James M. Inhofe Center for Africa Security Studies.
