Modification to reporting requirements with respect to nuclear weapons stockpile stewardship, management, and responsiveness plan

Section 4203 of the Atomic Energy Defense Act (50 U.S.C. 2523) is amended— (1) in subsection (b)— (A) by striking paragraph (1); (B) by redesignating paragraphs (2) and (3) as paragraphs (1) and (2), respectively, and adjusting the margins accordingly; and (C) in paragraph (1), as so redesignated— (i) by striking subsection (d) and inserting subsection (c); (ii) by striking March 15 of each odd-numbered year and inserting 45 days after each date on which a budget for an odd-numbered fiscal year is submitted to Congress; and (iii) in paragraph (2), as so redesignated, by striking summaries and reports and inserting report; (2) by striking subsection (c); (3) by redesignating subsections (d) through (f) as subsections (c) through (e), respectively; and (4) in subsections (c) and (d), as so redesignated, by striking subsection (b)(2) each place it appears and inserting subsection (b)(1).
